Hello Truth08, because the financial media has now been bought out by big banks and Wall Street, it is no surprise that any dissent to the bailout plan has been censored by the mainstream media.
Have you read of Chomsky’s or Bagdikian’s Manufacturing Consent that describes how media filters work?

Just read the bill. Wow! So… Greenspan opened the mouse trap and set it up with the low interest rates (read “bait”), and ARMs. The mice (I mean, americans) got in (i.e. bought real estate). And now mr. Paulson closed the trap, and we are in it for life. The Fed and their “designated institutions” will take ownership of all these mortgages, restructure them in such a way that every one pays them as much as they can for as long as they can. They will offer you a choice foreclosure or lower paiments for a longer time. If you want to keep yoru overvalued house, you can keep it, but you will give them all your money for the rest of your life. In other words - they will own everyone who has a mortgage on their own terms. Welcome to the subtle dictatorship.
