thanks for the pertinent analogy michael. I'm still amazed all the time how many times I discuss such matters with others who adamantly disagree. Just within the past six months, I've warned businessmen to hedge against a falling dollar and been told that the dollar will most definitely strengthen. I've warned against hedging against the U.S. markets for weeks now, but been ignored by those that think the markets are only beginning their bull market to much higher heights, I warned against a pullback in gold months ago to hear people tell me that gold had reached its bottom already at $650 before sharply retreating to $570 an ounce. And where do people get such firm opinions from? From "official" government statistics.

Good to see that other people are keen to the enormous deception out there.

it's a bit like the US unemployment figures, the reporting of which was tinkered with under the Bush and Clinton administrations. If a person is unemployed for in excess of six months they " fall off" the jobless data as they are deemed to be not seeking employment.

I have seen analysis that suggests the real rate of unemployment in the good ole US of A ,as being closer to 12.5 % if calculated in the same way as earlier administrations.

Lies lies and damn statistics= who do you believe....certainly not the powers that be as they have too much to lose, to tell the truth
