Hi Kristy,

When I said it will “affect” (I think I said “effect” in my blog, I know poor grammar!) everything including precious metals, I didn’t necessarily mean that it will affect everything in a negative way. I’m on board with the gold bugs. If this crisis happens, gold will go to the moon. I strongly believe gold is one of the best singular ways to protect yourself. BTW, this blog is just part of a bigger site that is under construction and should be live in about another month, so feel free to check back then.

Hi JS Kim,
All this information has been really useful and I have read other sites about an impending economic crisis maybe similar to the 1930s depression (since us debt/gdp is around 300% and a similar level of indebtedness occurred before the 1930s), how would you suggest that we protect ourselves in this sort of a crisis. . Gold bugs have been stating that we should put our money into gold, but you mentioned that even gold may be affected by the crisis so I was wondering what methods of protection you would recommend.
